Hors D'oeuvres With Style: Asian Soup Spoons

I recently hosted a soiree to celebrate the launch of my new fiction novel, Shaken and Stirred. The venue was amazing (Studio 580 Art Gallery in Midtown Manhattan), the guests were beautiful and the food was spectacular!

One of the menu items was chilled Madras lentils with shaved grana parmigiano, cilantro and cream, served individually in Asian soup spoons. Aesthetically, the presentation was gorgeous (the spoons were arranged horizontally on two fresh banana leaves) and functionally, it was a life saver because there was no mess, it was portion controlled and easy to eat!
Thanks to Tasty Bite-Preferred Brands International, Norseland, Inc. Cheese (Jarlsberg, Snofrisk and Boursin Cheeses), Crave Cookies and Gud Fud Marshmallows for supplying our amazing and delicious cuisine! And thanks to photographer, Jonathan Hokklo for capturing the evening so beautifully and FloReal Florist for supplying the chic orchid arrangements!
