I'm the founder and president of Savvy, a firm devoted to generating awareness and driving demand for the specialty food industry. I'm author of fiction novel Shaken & Stirred, a story following Christian Cullen, a thirty-something entrepreneur and her comedic juggling act of seeking balance in her professional/love/family/spiritual/social life. I'm a graduate of Indiana University, a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority (Kappa Chapter-initiated Spring 96), a 2011 winner of British Airways Face of Opportunity Entrepreneurs Competition and a supporter of the UN World Food Programme and James Beard Foundation. I'm a foodie and an arts & culture fanatic so in my spare time I take full advantage of the plethora of museums, jazz spots and culinary gems in the city where I work and play.
