Wine & Cheese Pairing: Brie & Camembert


Brie and Camembert (pronounced cam-mem-bear) are wonderful cheeses to entertain with. Soft-bodied, creamy and a little salty, these cheeses work really well a nice sparkling wine like Moscato d'Asti or a nice calm, yet equally sophisticated Moscato. If you're a beer drinker, try pairing Brie or Camembert with a crisp, hard apple or pear cider.
IMPORTANT NOTE: For better flavor, always allow Brie or Camembert to reach room temperature before serving it. Water crackers and crusty breads (like French breads) are great accompaniments to these cheeses.
